This data protection declaration relates exclusively to data collected as part of the online job application process and includes information on the processing of the candidate's personal data collected during the online job application process.

SA complies with all relevant statutory data protection requirements (Spanish data protection laws, European data protection directives and any other applicable data protection law). With our data protection declaration, we inform you as a user about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data.

3. Processing of personal data in the job application process

Personal data means any information relating to the personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable individual. This includes information such as, for example, their name, address, telephone number and date of birth, but also data relating to their specific career, etc., by reference to which a particular person can be identified with reasonable effort. However, information that cannot be (in)directly associated with his or her real-life identity is not personal data.

4. Principles and purposes of the processing of personal data in relation to the receipt of applications and the application process

When submitting an application electronically, i.e. by e-mail or via our web form, the candidate's personal data is collected and processed for the purpose of managing and processing the selection process and implementing the appropriate pre-contractual measures.

By submitting an application via our recruitment page, you explicitly indicate your interest in working with us. The personal data you provide in this context will be used and stored exclusively for the purpose of job search and application.

In the course of the selection process, the candidate may also attach relevant documents, such as a cover letter, CV and qualifications, which may also contain personal data such as date of birth, address, etc.

Only authorised employees of the Talent department or employees involved in the selection process will have access to your data.

The storage of personal data is exclusively for the purpose of filling the vacancy for which the application has been submitted.

The candidate's data will be retained for 365 days after the end of the recruitment process for the fulfilment of legal obligations or the defence of claims. Subsequently, we are obliged to delete or anonymise your data. Thereafter, the data will only be available as metadata without direct personal reference for statistical purposes (e.g. percentage of women and men in applications received, number of applications per period, etc.).

In addition, we reserve the right to store candidate data for inclusion in our talent pool for 180 days after the end of the selection process in order to identify any other positions that may be of interest to you. This also applies, for example, to applications for training or internship positions. By accepting the privacy policy, the candidate expressly consents to the possible retention of his/her data for a longer period and their inclusion in our talent pool.

If in the course of the recruitment process the candidate receives a contract proposal and accepts it, the personal data collected during the recruitment process will be retained at least for the duration of the employment relationship.

5. Transfer of data to third parties

The data provided as part of the application is transmitted via TLS encryption and stored in a database. This database is operated by Personio GmbH, which distributes applicant and human resources management software ( https://www.personio.es/legal-notice/ ). In this context, Personio is our processor in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR. The basis for the processing is the execution of the data processing agreement (DPA) concluded between us, as the data controller, and Personio.

6. Rights of the data subject

Insofar as we, as the responsible body, process personal data, you, as a data subject, are entitled to certain rights under Chapter III of the GDPR, depending on the legal basis and the purposes of the processing for which the data is intended, namely the right of access (Article 15 of the GDPR), the right of rectification (Article 16 of the GDPR), the right of erasure (Article 17 of the GDPR), the right to restriction of processing (Article 18 of the GDPR), the right to data portability (Article 20 of the GDPR) and the right to object (Article 21 of the GDPR). Insofar as the processing of personal data is based on your consent, pursuant to Article 7(3) of the GDPR, you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time.

To exercise your rights as a data subject in relation to the processing of data during the online application process, you should contact the Data Protection Officer (see point 2).

7. Final Provisions

We reserve the right to amend this data protection declaration at any time in order to comply with current legal requirements or to reflect changes made in the job application procedure or other similar processes. In such a case, if the candidate revisits this recruitment page or applies, the new data protection declaration will apply to him or her.
